We are open for breakfast from 8am all week. We serve food throughout the day with last orders being 9.30pm Sunday – Thursday & Friday & Saturday at 10pm.

We use fresh, locally-sourced produce to provide you with a truly local experience. Our menus are created to make the best of the wonderful produce grown and reared in the Cherwell Valley and the surrounding countryside. Our food is seasonal giving you scrumptious variety every time you visit.

Our general manager, Claire Lenkowiec, head chef Conal Boyle and the team offer a complete seasonal fixed-price menu. Sandwiches and sharing boards are also available. On Sundays we have our 2 and 3 course Sunday Lunch menu which includes some selected pub classics. We also offer a range of gluten-free and vegetarian choices.

The Lion is a great setting for morning coffee, brunch, a light lunch or afternoon tea with your family, friends or business associates.

Owing to popularity our restaurant is often busy, and we would encourage you to make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
